Yes, in certain cases, you may be able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to reimburse the cost of Aware Coaching services. According to IRS guidelines, health coaching services may qualify for HSA or FSA reimbursement if they are recommended by a licensed healthcare provider as a treatment or preventive measure for a diagnosed medical condition.  

To determine eligibility, consider the following steps:

1. Consult with Your Healthcare Provider: If your provider determines that Aware Coaching services are medically necessary for managing or improving a specific health condition, they can issue a Letter of Medical Necessity.

2. Submit Documentation to Your HSA/FSA Administrator: Each HSA and FSA plan has its own requirements. Contact your plan administrator to ensure you have the necessary documentation for reimbursement.

3. Ensure Services Align with IRS Guidelines: While our coaching focuses on support for those dealing with serious health conditions like addiction, each HSA/FSA plan may interpret guidelines differently. Consulting your administrator will provide clarity on your plan’s coverage.

I utilize ZOOM for all of our sessions so you can meet with me at home, in the car, or during trips.
